Built on the value of “Moving forward together for neighbors and the local community,” NAVER HANDS is an exemplary company for the disabled aimed at supporting the sincere social independence of individuals with developmental disabilities. If you take a look around NAVER’s headquarters, you can encounter NAVER HANDS employees deeply engaged in their respective tasks.

Every morning, NAVER HANDS employees who come to work clean the coffee machines on each floor, fill them with fragrant coffee beans, and replenish and arrange insufficient inventory in the building’s brand store and convenience store. They take orders in the coffee shop, prepare beverages, and are also responsible for trimming and packaging flowers in the plant shop. With unwavering focus and meticulous attention to detail, they manage various facilities and services within NAVER’s headquarters.

Joining Hands for a Lasting Journey Together

There are currently more than 50 employees working at NAVER HANDS. Among them, there are employees with over 10 years of experience. What could be the reason for being able to work together steadily for such a long time?

Firstly, a dedicated manager system is operated for employees to cultivate professional expertise. If we were to describe dedicated managers of NAVER HANDS in a word, it would be “lighthouse.” They always stand by the employees like a lighthouse, providing education on the tasks assigned to employees, and assisting when unexpected situations arise or when dealing with customers. Working closely with NAVER HANDS employees, they boost confidence in tasks and provide a constant source of motivation to work persistently.

Secondly, we assign tasks suitable for employees with different personalities and create tailored work manuals. The dedicated manager personally performs the tasks, creating work manuals with detailed images and explanations to make the process easily understandable for the assigned employees. NAVER HANDS employees repeatedly undergo training based on these work manuals, enabling them to develop the ability to handle complex processes on their own.

Thirdly, we closely monitor and care for the well-being of our employees. Recognizing that everyone encounters challenges at work, we placed “Mind Check” and “Mind Stretching” posters in the office. These resources provide employees with methods to assess their own emotional status and relieve tension. Even after stretching, if employees find themselves emotionally struggling, managers carefully provide care through counseling sessions to support one’s psychological stability during work.
