– Solid growth across major business divisions; Q2 revenue up 11.7% and operating profit up 10.3% YoY

NAVER Corporation (CEO Choi Soo-yeon, www.navercorp.com) announced that in the second quarter of 2025, it posted revenue of KRW 2.9151 trillion, operating profit of KRW 521.6 billion, and net profit of KRW 497.4 billion.
The second-quarter consolidated revenue rose 11.7% year-on-year (YoY) to KRW 2.9151 trillion, driven by solid growth in major business segments such as Search Platform and Commerce. Consolidated operating profit increased 10.3% YoY to KRW 521.6 billion.
Revenue by business segment was as follows: Search Platform with KRW 1.0365 trillion; Commerce with KRW 861.1 billion; Fintech with KRW 411.7 billion; Content with KRW 474.0 billion; and Enterprise with KRW 131.7 billion.
The Search Platform segment recorded KRW 1.0365 trillion in revenue, an increase of 5.9% YoY and 2.4% quarter-on-quarter (QoQ). This growth was supported by extended user engagement through AI-based new services and feeds, optimized ad inventory, and advanced targeting. Overall, NAVER platform ad revenue grew 8.7% YoY and 5.6% QoQ.
The Commerce segment posted revenue of KRW 861.1 billion, an increase of 19.8% YoY and 9.3% QoQ. This was driven by the successful launch of the NAVER Plus Store app, stronger membership offerings, and enhanced competitiveness in N Delivery. In Q2, growth in Smart Store and service transaction volume led to a 9.0% YoY increase in NAVER Commerce’s on-platform transaction volume.
The Fintech segment recorded revenue of KRW 411.7 billion, an increase of 11.7% YoY and 4.8% QoQ. NAVER Pay’s Q2 payment volume rose 18.7% YoY to KRW 20.8 trillion, supported by Smart Store growth and the continued expansion of its external ecosystem. Within the year, NAVER Pay plans to strengthen its competitiveness as a platform connecting online and offline finance, including the launch of new payment terminals that support a variety of payment methods, such as Face Sign, for user convenience.
Meanwhile, the Content segment reported revenue of KRW 474.0 billion, an increase of 12.8% YoY and 3.2% QoQ. This was boosted by a rebound in webtoon growth and an increase in paid subscribers to the camera app.
The Enterprise segment, on the other hand, posted revenue of KRW 131.7 billion, an increase of 5.8% YoY but a decrease of 1.9% QoQ. This was backed by growth in public sector sales and an increase in paid IDs for LINE WORKS.
