- Members of NAVER Plus and Shilla online duty-free shop can enjoy a greater benefit of up to 8% NAVER Pay points accumulation

NAVER (CEO Choi Soo-yeon) and Hotel Shilla (CEO Lee Boo-jin) signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for a strategic business collaboration and announced their plans to expand the comprehensive partnership.
Through the MOU signed at the NAVER 1784 building in Seongnam, Gyeonggi-do on September 8, NAVER agreed to ▲expand user benefits through membership partnerships, ▲strengthen the online and off-line integration with NAVER Pay, and ▲collaborate on digital transformation based on AI and cloud technologies.
◼︎ Expanded membership benefits deliver increased synergy in travel, shopping and payments… NAVER Pay on-site QR payment will also be accessible at hotels
NAVER introduces robust membership benefits for NAVER Plus and Shilla Online Duty-Free Shop members. Starting from September 18, members of NAVER Plus who purchase more than KRW 200,000 at Shilla Online Duty-Free Shops will receive up to 8% NAVER Pay point accumulation benefits.
[Note 1] Maximum 8% NAVER Pay accumulation benefit: Basic 1% (up to KRW 100,000 per purchase) + additional 7% (up to KRW 50,000 per purchase)
In particular, NAVER Plus members, on top of the existing travel service benefit of the Shilla Online Duty-Free Shop discount, can also enjoy this additional accumulation benefit, further elevating the value of their membership.
[Note 2] NAVER Plus membership travel service benefits: Up to 5% accumulation on payment for hotel, ticket, and package products and services tagged with Npay+, and application of NAVER Travel N Travel Club Smart Level, which offers various accumulation and discount benefits (including Shilla Online Duty-Free Shop discount coupons)
NAVER Pay’s integration across online and off-line platforms is also being expanded. Both online and physical duty-free stores will further adopt NAVER Pay, and notably, NAVER Pay on-site QR payment will be available for use at Shilla Hotels and Shilla Stays, enhancing payment convenience for users.
◼︎ NAVER supports Hotel Shilla’s digital transformation through AI and Cloud technology collaboration
NAVER will also help incorporate its cutting-edge technologies such as generative AI and cloud, lending strength to Hotel Silla’s digital transformation and exploration of new businesses.
NAVER plans to introduce cloud services and technologies in the online platform and business operations of Hotel Shilla. The generative AI “HyperCLOVA X” and digital twin solution “ARC eye” will help innovate the hotel and duty-free businesses. Technological collaboration on NAVER’s AI-based product recommendation technology “AiTEMS” will also be carried out for advanced personalized services and recommendations.
