NAVER Z launched an AI Avatar event on the 7th, designed to make content creation easier for ZEPETO users with the assistance of generative AI.
During the event period, when a user uploads a selfie, they will have access to four different versions of their AI avatar, including original, animation, toy figure, and character. Users can upload up to three photos per person, allowing them to enjoy a maximum of twelve different avatar variations, all free of charge. This feature enables users to effortlessly create high-quality content with their AI avatar by simply uploading their real photo.
The event has utilized the power of generative AI, drawing upon NAVER Z's expertise in content creation and AI technologies. ZEPETO is already widely recognized for its avatar customization features, and by incorporating diverse graphic technologies, NAVER Z has developed an advanced AI avatar generation technology. This cutting-edge model has been refined by NAVER Z's in-house team of AI engineers.
Furthermore, NAVER Z aims to expand the application scope and use cases of generative AI to reduce barriers for creators in the metaverse.
